Arkansas River Valley

My home in Buena Vista, Colorado, serves as a wellspring of inspiration. Nestled beneath the majestic Collegiate Peaks of the Sawatch Range in central Colorado, the breathtaking scenery profoundly influences my work. These towering 14,000-foot summits give life to the Arkansas River, whose headwaters originate just north of here. As the river meanders through the valley, it exits near the town of Salida, flowing southward and adding to the area's natural beauty. Each setting sun casts new light on the landscape, sparking creativity and inviting exploration. This unique environment fuels my passion for capturing the essence of the Rockies through photography.
